Experience in Academic and General Administration:         

Worked as the Pro- Vice Chancellor of East West University from November 2013 to Nov 2015. As Pro Vice Chancellor, looked after the academic administration and other general administration including recruitment and procurement, served in the syndicate & academic council and co-ordinated conducting of admission tests. Drafted the Service Rules of East West University for academic and non-academic staff.

Also served as the Vice Chancellor (acting) of East West University for about three months.

Also served East West University efficiently as the Treasurer for more than a year.  In addition to financial management, was also involved in other administrative activities for the development of the university. Drafted a Finance Code for East west University for ensuring smooth, transparent and systematic management of finance and account.

Was Director of the Institute of Statistical Research and Training (ISRT), University of Dhaka from 1999 to 2001. As the Director of the Institute was responsible for management of academic and professional development and needs,  recruitment of teaching and other support staff, and general administration of the institute. Also served as the Chairman/member in admission and examination committees; as subject expert in various recruitment committees; supervised and examined Masters and PhD theses of local and foreign students. Has experience of managing residential Halls; and represented in various forums and bodies.

As project Director/Principal Investigator/Coordinator of various research projects and surveys, recruited, coordinated and managed the work of professionals, and field staff. Served as Senate and Academic council member and subject expert for the recruitment of academic staff from lecturer to professor for a number of universities..
