ISRT observed ‘STATISTICS DAY’ on 4th March 2006 on the occasion of 40th founding anniversary of the Institute and awarding gold medal to Dr. A.K. Md. Ehsanes Saleh, Professor Emeritus and distinguished research Professor of Carleton university. The inaugural session started at 11 a.m. with Prof. Dr. S.M.A. Faiz, Vice-Chancellor of University of Dhaka as Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. M. Obaidullah, former Director, ISRT, was present as Special Guest.
