Professor Dr. M Humayun Kabir, former distinguished faculty member of ISRT, died at his home in the capital late Sunday, December 24, 2017. He was 75. He was born in 1943 in Noakhali district. The ISRT family is deeply shocked and saddened to hear of the death news. The ISRT family would like to extend its sincerest condolences to his family. Professor M. Humayun Kabir served ISRT for 45 years from the 1967 to the 2012. He retired as a supernumerary Professor in January, 2012. Professor Kabir obtained PhD degree from the Brown University, USA and several masters degrees from the Harvard University, Ball State University and Dhaka University. He obtained a number of publications in national and international journals.
