ISRT faculty members Dr. Pk. Md. Motiur Rahman, Dr. Md. Amir Hossain, Dr. M. Iftakhar Alam, Mr. Paritosh Kumar Roy, and Mrs Humayera Islam have attended the first ever International Workshop on Poverty Statistics in Kathmandu Nepal from December 11-14, 2017. The workshop is organized by International Statistical Institute (ISI) and National Statistical Institute of Nepal and aims to educate the statisticians and stakeholders in SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) region on key concepts of poverty statistics and international practices of poverty measurement.
