Admission Procedure for BS in Applied Statistics and Data Science

Students completing the SSC and HSC in the science group who have at least a total of 1300 marks are eligible for the admission test. The admission schedule is announced through national newspapers generally in March-April. Students are to appear for the test where the questions are given in an MCQ format.

A general admission test is taken centrally by the Dhaka University authority, and any student pursuing study B.Sc. honors in Applied Statistics and Data Science has to appear in it. Students of the science group passed the SSC and HSC with a good GPA.

Students must have 50% marks in Mathematics or Statistics in the HSC examination to get admission in Honors in Applied Statistics and Data Science.

Admission Procedure for MS in Applied Statistics and Data Science

Generally, the successful students of the B.Sc. (honors) course in Applied Statistics are allowed to get admitted to the one-year Master’s program in Applied Statistics and Data Science.
