Abstract

Some results in Galois field theory have been obtained. These have been applied to obtain orthogonal main-effects plans of the general type with $ s^r $ and $ 2s $ runs. By this technique orthogonal main-effects plans of size $ 2s^r $ and confounded factorials can be obtained almost trivially.
