ABSTRACT

When confidential or secret information are communicated through open channel, the sender “encrypts” it with some method and the receiver “decrypts”. The encrypted information should have some “good” statistical properties so that an intruder will have “difficulty” in retrieving the actual information from the encrypted one. A particular model “stream cipher” will be introduced along with its desired statistical properties.
