Call for Papers : JSR Special Issue

The Institute of Statistical Research and Training, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh is going to publish a special issue of the Journal of Statistical Research (JSR) in honor of Professor Bradley Efron, Department of Statistics, Stanford University, USA for his outstanding contributions to Statistical, Mathematical and Physical Sciences.

Colleagues, friends, well wishers, and former students of Professor Efron are invited to contribute papers for this issue of JSR. These papers will be fully refereed before publication and the length of the papers may not be more than 25 pages. Accepted papers must be typed in LaTex. The LaTex template and the style file are available at JSR Website. All authors are encouraged to send their manuscripts to the Overseas Managing Editor kibriagatfiu [dot] edu (Dr. B.M. Golam Kibria) with a copy to the Editor-in-Chief esalehatmath [dot] carleton [dot] ca ( Prof. A.K.Md.E. Saleh). Some important dates:

  • October 31, 2009 : Deadline for submitting papers
  • December 31, 2009 : Deadline for submitting final version of the accepted papers
  • January, 2010 : The special issue will be published
