On Admissibility of a Conditionally Specified Test in a Split-Plot Experiment with Random Effects

C.V. Rao and P. Raman (1995). On Admissibility of a Conditionally Specified Test in a Split-Plot Experiment with Random Effects. Journal of Statistical Research, Vol. 29, No. 1, pp.  31-39.

Abstract

For testing no whole plot treatment effects in a split-plot experiment with random effects, a conditionally specified test (CST) procedure is formulated based on two preliminary tests of significance. A necessary and sufficient condition for admissibility of the CST procedure is obtained. An example is given to illustrate the admissibility of the CST procedure.
