Construction of Orthogonal Main Effect Plans

D.K. Ghosh and A.B. Bhatt (1989). Construction of Orthogonal Main Effect Plans. Journal of Statistical Research, Vol. 23, No. 1-2, pp.  ??-??.

Abstract

Three series of orthogonal main effect plans are constructed using Hadamard matrices. In the first series, plans of type $ 8\times 2^{4n-10} $ experiments are constructed in $ 4n $ runs. In second series orthogonal main effect plans of type $ 4\times 2^{2n-4} $ are constructed in $ 2n $ runs. Another plans of $ 4^2\times 2^{3(n-1)} $ experiments are constructed in $ 4n $ runs which is illustrated by an example. All three plans are saturated. However further plans are also constructed by collapsing the levels of one factor. But these plans are unsaturated. Some more saturated plans are also developed from the investigated plans.
