Abstract
A bulk service, delayed queuing with random server capacity is considered in this paper. The server capacity, treated as a random variable, is drawn from various distribution functions, with different characteristics. Using the embedded queue size distribution and the system intensity as performance measures, a though computational analysis of the system is performed to assess the effects of these distributions on the system performance. Results are then presented and conclusions are drawn.
